Writing Instructor
Ms. Susnjara has instructed children and teens (ages 7-17) through Writopia Lab a nonprofit whose mission is to foster joy, literacy, and critical thinking in children and teens from all backgrounds through creative writing.
Narrative Nonfiction Mentor and Consultant
Through the Creative Nonfiction Foundation Ms. Susnjara has designed and taught 10-week online curriculum instructing adult-age students with diverse backgrounds ranging from journalism to academia on the principles of narrative nonfiction writing.
Ms Susnjara also taught through the foundation’s mentoring program, which involves working with students one-on-one to edit and shape written work including memoirs, personal essays and book proposals.
Creative Consultant on Screenplays and Teleplays
With a 7 1/2 year background as a film and TV development executive for producers at major studios including Warner Bros., United Artists, and Walt Disney Picture, Ms. Susnjara is often hired as a creative consultant on screenplays and teleplays. In addition she has served on panels and as guest screenplay development and analysis instructor at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
